"Homework Overload"
Recycled Materials
54" x 27" x 12"
This sculpture was made during Junior year when the homework load never ended. So, I decided to sculpt my feelings of being a sort of homework robot. This is almost completely made from recycled materials: the canvas is an old light cover from my house, I used homework to paper mache the background and lots of the face, I used a bike gear for the iris, some smaller gears for the inside of the iris, and a piece of a hard drive for the pupil, and Acrylic paint. With this piece I realized my love for using recycled materials in my pieces and I hope to make many more.
