This large piece represents inequality. The person on the right is seemingly lesser than the man on the left. The man is looking down at the person in distress, yet doesn't seem to be ready to lend a helping hand. Still, he isn't completely unaffected by the same issue as the other person, which is apparent by looking at the top of the man's head.
